Preheat a heavy skillet over medium high heat. Add the bacon pieces and cook until crispy and fat rendered, about 5 minutes. With a slotted spoon, remove the bacon from the pan leaving the drippings, reserving the bacon.
Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook and stir until they begin to soften and become lightly browned, about 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Return the bacon to the skillet with the Brussels sprouts and drizzle with the maple syrup. Cook 1-2 minutes more to heat the syrup through.
