;
We have had some historic winter weather this year so far and one trend we definitely noticed was all the snow ice cream-making happening around the country – so fun!  It is a really simple recipe, so we thought we would throw in our version across the interwebs.  Enjoy!

Non – Snow Ingredients

½ cup of sugar
1 cup of milk (any milk is fine or heavy whipping cream)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

Mix all non-snow ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.  Place mixing bowl in the freezer while you go outside to gather your snow.
Go outside and gather 8 cups of clean, untouched snow.  It is best to gather snow on the first snow day to avoid atmospheric pollutants.
Quickly stir your snow into your milk mixture.  If you need to add more snow, do so until it creates an ice cream consistency.  Immediately serve as it melts fast!
