Chili Lime Shrimp Tacos Recipe



– 1 lb Peeled and Deveined Shrimp, 31-40 count

– 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

– Zest and juice of 1 Lime

– 1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic

– 1/4 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper

– 1/4 tsp. Paprika

– 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder

– 1/4 tsp. Kosher Salt

– Flour or Corn Tortillas

– Habanero Ranch (recipe below)

– Guasacaca (recipe below)



  1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with the remaining ingredients and toss to combine. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the shrimp in batches. Sear on one side for 1-2 minutes, flip and sear on the other side until pink all the way through and no longer opaque, 1-2 minutes.
  3. Serve in a flour or corn tortilla, topped with Habanero Ranch and Guasacaca.


Habanero Ranch Recipe



– 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing

– 1 tsp. Granulated Garlic

– 1 tsp. Onion Powder

– 1/4 tsp. Habanero Powder

– 1/2 tsp. Ground Black Pepper

– 2 Tbls. Grated Parmesan Cheese



Combine ranch dressing, half the habanero powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Check for seasonings, adjust, and serve.


Guasacaca Recipe



– 5 Avocados, peeled and pitted

– 1/2 of a Yellow Onion, roughly chopped

– 2 Poblano Peppers

– 2 tsp. Minced Garlic

– 2 Tbsp. Chopped Cilantro

– 2 Tbsp. Chopped Parsley

– 3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

– 2 Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar

– 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt

– 1/4 tsp. Ground Black Pepper



Fire roast the poblanos until blistered and place in a ziplock bag and set aside for five minutes.

Place the onion on a sheet pan and spray with non-stick spray. Roast in a 350-degree oven until cooked through. Peel, stem, and take out the seeds from the poblanos. In a blender, add the roasted peppers, roasted onion, avocado pulp, and vinegar and puree until smooth. Slowly incorporate the oil. Add cilantro and parsley and purée until smooth. Finish with salt and pepper.
